Here are the requirements needed for submission to AdOps in order to complete the verification process:
- Organization name
- Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- Website URL
Once this information is submitted, AdOps will need to email and text a code to verify the phone number and email listed. It is important to remember that once the codes are sent, AdOps will need the codes back within 20 minutes to submit to Facebook. After the codes have been finalized, AdOps will fully submit the verification form to Facebook. FB typically completes their evaluation of the disclaimer within 3 days. Once approved, the verification is valid and the disclaimer will be made available immediately.
Google verification requires certain information which depends on whether the client is registered with the FEC or not.
If "Yes," the following information is needed:
- FEC ID
- Link to FEC registration page
- Organization name
- Address
If "No," the following information is needed:
- State Regulators ID (If applicable)
- EIN number (if applicable)
- Organization name
- Address
- One of the following documents:
- Any document, notice, or letter either issued by the IRS or stamped by the IRS that states your Organization name and EIN. Some examples are CP575, 147C, CP299, 988, 937, 1050, 5822 etc.
- Forms submitted to the IRS will only be accepted if a copy of the form is available on the IRS website. Some examples are Forms 8871 and 990. See here (political organizations) and here (tax exempt organizations) for ways to search for your organization on the IRS website.
- Certificate of Business Incorporation issued by the state where you conduct business activities that states your Organization name and EIN
- Your most recent SEC filing (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q or 8-K forms) that states the Organization name and EIN
- Bank statements dated within the last 3 months that state the Organization name and EIN. Please do not submit personal bank statements.
- Business credit reports that state your Organization name and EIN from Experian, Equifax, TransUnion or Dun & Bradstreet
Once AdOps receives this information, they will submit to Google for approval. The approval process can take up to a week, but you will be notified once approved.
The Trade Desk
TTD verification requires the items below for submission
- Candidate name:
- Is the ad for a federal, state, or local election?
- If for a state election, what state is this ad for?
- The paying entity that is paying for the ad:
- The physical address of the paying entity:
- The name of an executive at the paying entity:
- Title of the executive (i.e. Treasurer):
- Federal Election Commission ID:
- Employer Identification Number (EIN) for the political organization that is paying for the ad (if the advertiser does not have an FEC ID, we can use this EIN instead):
